First, I’m eating crow over my earlier comment about The Hunger Games. (pretty sure I said it was boring) I’m a little over 50% through the book and I am loving it. Hoping to finish this week and move on the the next one. Have you read it? If so, what was/is your impression?
Wishful thinking? Okay, this is really wishing because these puppies are expensive. A girl’s gotta dream, right?

The new leopard print suede Tom’s ballet flats to replace…

these. I’ve loved them dearly and worn through the toes
…twice.
And maybe a nice chunky sweater (and scarf) like this.
The boots are kinda nice, too. Don’t you think?
So, that’s (a little of) what I’m wishing for this week. Not too bad if you say it fast.
What’s on your wish list?

  • Seriously? You said The Hunger Games was boring? Glad you gave it a second chance! We all loved the entire trilogy. Craig is the last one to read it – he is halfway through The Hunger Games now. He kept picking shorter books (not an enthusiastic reader but required to read 3 books a marking period for school) and getting bored. He finally gave in and took our recommendation (he NEVER takes recommendations from any of us!)…and he is loving it. Not that I am the type to say I told you so…

    Enjoy!

  • Love that top picture. The blue and red with the nook/kindle?
I got my Dad the first hunger games because of all the hoopla and reviews, and he loved the first, but not so much the second. I have too many books on my shelf marked as to read, to dive into anything else. If you are a book lover, I would suggest goodreads.com. I love it. A terrific place to find good book and reviews…social networking for book worms…plus they have any easy way to blog your book reviews.
    Cheers,

  • I am about 1/2 way through the first of the Hunger Gmaes books. I am absolutely loving it so far! I dont want to stop reading! Cant wait to see where it all ends, and cannot wait for the movie!

  • First of all, I love your new website. 🙂 This is what I’m aiming to do with my blog one day and actually have my blog under my own domain instead of using WordPress.com.

Anyways. I liked The Hunger Games. However, I’ve heard it goes downhill in the last book. I still want to finish the series, though, and I’m looking forward to the movie.

Also, how do you like your Kindle?

  • Put the Hunger games on my “review at B&N next trip” list.

Red boots and brown leather can be sent any day. I will pass on the flats (plantar facitis) and I’m short already. The scarf and sweater are gorgeous however I have my own personal power surges I’d probably ignite them!

I’m wishing for snow, there I said it nah-nah!

  • Loved all 3 books!
Because I don’t have the time to read, I listen to the audio books while I’m at the torch…

    Also LOVE those red boot!

    Happy reading xo
