Happy Weekend, Original Paintings and the 100 Day Project

Happy weekend! (Lucy says hi) So, what are your plans? We’re sadly leaving the mountains behind and returning back to Atlanta, ending what was a lovely, after Easter vacation.

I’ve got some 100 Day Project updates and (happily) announce that the original paintings from this project are going to be available for purchase. I’m so excited about this. Prices are very reasonable and will (hopefully) keep me in supplies for the duration of the project.

#6/100 via Instagram

#6/100 was a pencil sketch of my favorite planner EVER. Click here after you’re finished reading to see how you too can experience the awesomeness of this handmade planner.

This one is available here.

Here’s #7/100 in progress via Instagram.

8/100 was a quickie pen sketch of this beautiful sprig I snagged while out for a walk. It had the prettiest little burgundy buds.

So I added the tiniest bit of color to give them center stage.

FYI – This little original dogwood watercolor is also available for purchase here.

I hope you have a lovely weekend. For now, I need to hop up, finish laundry and clean.
You know. The fun part.

  1. Lori, these are wonderful. I love the bit of color you added (6th one here). It really makes the painting “pop.”
I also really love the dogwood. It is one of my very favorite springtime flowers. We lost both of our (young) dogwoods during the winter of 2015-16, and will actually be looking for replacements for them this week.
Have a wonderful beginning to your week!
