Happy Saturday! It was a busy week here at Studio Waterstone. So without further ado, let’s get right to this wrap. Just in case you missed something, this is what we did…

Tutorial Tuesday introduced a new way of creating your own tote (or handbag) from a recycled top! To end things right, I decided to host a giveaway through the rest of this week for the end result, a “Make Coffee, not War” handbag. If you missed it, there’s still time! Hop over, see how it’s made, then enter the giveaway which runs through Sunday night.

Featuring Studio Spaces spoke with Barbara Lewis of Painting with Fire Artwear. We were already amazed at her beautiful work. Now we’re in awe over her fantastic studio space. Don’t miss this great interview.

I had hoped to finish this tote by Saturday, but still need to rivet a couple of straps! I posted progress on my Facebook page, if you’d like to follow along.

This will most certainly go into the shop today. It’s SO pretty! The snaps are on the front along with a winding vine of brown leather leaves…Just need to add those freaking I mean beautiful straps. 🙂

That’s my week. How about yours? I’d love to hear about it. Leave a link if you’ve posted about it or have a post you’d like for everyone else to see.

Have a great one!
