I don’t know about you, but this has been a busy week! Where to begin? Let’s begin with the good news. I’m getting an assistant! Good Lord and hallelujah almighty! There IS a light at the end of the tunnel…or so I’m told.

The model is finishing up school and has agreed to work for me between school and, well, big girl school (a.k.a. college). She felt bad accepting actual wages so we settled on gas for her car and new clothes. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure I got the raw end of that deal.

(Between blabbing, I’ll insert this week’s work)

Is this not gorgeous? It sold very quickly. But the good news is that more are on the horizon by the end of the weekend.

Did you see Thursday’s Featuring Studio Spaces? No?
We spoke with Linda Nash of Inner Earth Jewelry. Hop over and have a look see.
Her space is wonderful. We’re especially loving that large center table on castors!

Er…this one sold, too.Do you follow me on Facebook?
You really should if you’d like to know as soon as new items are finished.

New pretties which are so pretty I WISH I had complete photos.
Alas, I do not, so this will have to suffice.

On Friday, we saw the rejects.

I’m photographing goodies (including a few Studio Waterstone Samples) to sell
this weekend over at my other place.

Okay, here’s your job. Tell me (or link up and show me) at least ONE GOOD THING
that happened to you this week. I’m looking for positive thoughts and actions people!

Oh, and have a good one.

  • Bring on the “Peace Frogs”! Mom and I love the Peace Frog shirt – we have a LARGE collection of them. Good things that happened this week – The weather was gorgeous and I was able to start walking outside again and mom has an answer to her neck issues and we now have a plan of action, oh and this weekend we will be working in the studio so new things to be created – YIPPEE! Have a wonderful weekend! Oh, and I am in love with the table on casters too – awsome studio feature artist!

  • Thanks Kelly. I wish I had gotten a gazillion yards of that fabric because everyone loves it. And the funny thing is that I’ve held onto it for so long thinking people didn’t like orange.

Luckily, I’ll still get two more bags from it before it goes bye-bye.

  • I had a great week in the sales department, I so appreciate my customers, they just keep those creative juices flowing.
Bad thing that happened, is that I did not get to that second bag fast enough. I love the free motion quilting with that flower/vine style of yours.
