What a week! I’m happy to say that the “flu” riddled Mr. Waterstone, Jr. survived by the skin of his teeth. Turned out that he was misdiagnosed and by Saturday night, we took him to the hospital urgent care where they did xrays and determined that he never had the flu but instead had a pretty bad case of pneumonia! Poor guy. A 21 year old with a fever of 103.8 is not a happy camper. Thankfully, he has youth on his side and is back in full swing – well, almost.

As for Studio Waterstone, I plugged away and was actually able to build the shop a little! Nice! What’s that sound? I’m trying to pat myself on the back but my arms are so tired from washing sweaty sheets that it’s a feeble attempt at best. This is what happened at Studio Waterstone…

Have a great weekend – rest – recoop – revive. I sure will.

  • It’s awful when the kids are sick, isn’t it? (And even though mine are much smaller, I’m sure it doesn’t change with age!)

  • Oh my, what a scare for you! How hard is it to diagnose pneumonia??!!…Anyway, I am so happy he is on the mend now, I will keep you all in my prayers.

  • I am glad that they figured it out. Finally.

The only thing I can say after seeing your items and all you do, YOU are a force of nature and you need to take Martha whats her name’s place!

  • *Love* all of these but I think 2,3 and 7 are my faves! Glad your boy is on the mend and hope he gets better quick. Pneumonia sounds like a rough ride for you all! You have achieved a LOT this week – I’m so impressed, as always 🙂

  • That red suede bag is stunning! Glad everyone is on the mend.

What am I most proud of – making it through the week and my new iPad came!

  • Glad your son has the right diagnosis, a lot of kids around here have had the flu go bacterial and turn into pneumonia.
Natalie’s cuff is in the banner, she wears it everyday. Let me know when you are going to make more.
Just getting ready for this bead show next weekend, I am so nervous it is the biggest show I have done.
Off to the studio to make more headpins and eggs.
